And as all good things it took on a life of its own. Merchants on long has made a major impact on the Cape Town scene this year and promises many exciting taseteful african products, home ware and beautiful accessories. Merchants has spearheaded african development projects that aim to create high quality african products benefitting both the shop and those who made them. Most recently the Beading Project and the Crochet Project have attracted a lot of attention with a wonderful selection of accessories from bags and hats to earings and necklaces. All products are chosen for their quality and impecable taste. Merchants is a great example of Africa doing it for itself, by creating and hosting products that truely stand out for their excellence.
